Peer Support Worker (NDIS)
As a peer support worker, I will work collaboratively with my participants, acknowledging that each person is an expert in their own life. I work with the person to develop goals, hopes and aspirations. I work within a strengths-based approach that is underpinned by a strong and respectful relationship.
As a peer support worker I am able to support my clients with:
- Building strong relationships for recovery
- Support with recovery planning
- Budgeting support and planning, while working on attitudes towards savings and spendings
- Building personal capacity, including around motivation, strengths, resilience and decision making
- Collaborating with other systems of support to ensure they are all on the right track
- Supporting engagement with the NDIS
- Support for those looking to undertake study in the area of mental health and peer support

Support is available around the Melbourne CBD and North-Western Suburbs.
Rates: $65p/hr (Mon-Fri)
$91p/hr (Sat)
$117p/hr (Sun)
$143p/hr (Public Holiday)
